|JETRO Nagoya and the Central Japan Startup Ecosystem Consortium will hold a "Startup x Global Talents Ideation Workshop" for startups and international and Japanese students studying in the Tokai region to encourage the "global development of startups." This event will be held in cooperation with the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB BUSINESS SCHOOL). International students, and motivated Japanese students who are interested in work or intern at startups are invited to participate in this program. The goal is to create a place where international students and motivated Japanese students with unique perspectives and ideas from around the world can co-create with startups from Chubu who are working to solve global social issues.

|Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) launched the “German-Japanese Innovation Initiatives 160” in 2021 to mark the 160th anniversary of Japan-Germany relations, in order to create innovations aimed at resolving global issues such as climate change, declining birthrate and aging population, infectious diseases including COVID-19, SDGs, and food issues. And this year, as a follow-up, exchange networking programs between German and Japanese companies have been held in various parts of Germany.
